Baker Tilly Ukraine has been sponsoring the “Svibodnyi Theatre”, under the direction of Arthur Artimeniev, for more than eight years.
The opening of “Svibodnyi Theatre” was a one of the most remarkable events according to the Kievskie Vedomosti newspaper. The theatre gained prestige at once among the capital citizens. It was owing to great performance of dancing musical – “Jonathan the Seagull” the author of which is Richard Bah. This performance is a visiting card of the theatre. It was played over 180 times. During the last 10 years it was seen by 100000 spectators.
The second play of the theatre was "Butterflies are free" that was also pretty much popular. Both plays are the participants of international theatre festivals: “Berezilliya” and “Dobryi theatre”.
Eventually the most popular and titled is “Males dialogue”, a lyric comedy-drama. The authors are Arkadiy Averchenko, Valentin Rasputina, Pavel Vezhynov, and Partic Besson. The play was awarded as best actor duet at international theatre festival “Dobryi theatre” (2004), it was also awarded as best shooting script and as best actor duet at international theatre festival “ Podmoskovnye Vechera” (2006). This May the play was awarded as special prize at International theatre festival in Wranca (Bulgaria).
Creative union of “Svibodnyi Theatre” and Baker Tilly Ukraine started in 2001. It was during the preparation to “Males dialogue” play. Since then owing to the help of the company the theatre could update all printed materials, to improve the conditions of rehearsal process, to obtain legal and audit support and to visit many prestigious international theater festivals.
